this is very interesting, I like the idea of just seeing the person's back in the last shot, very suspicous...great idea but I'm still feeling a little confused...:P

The recent stint of sequential oriented frames is a nifty new evolution of your work.

These are quite different pieces than we're used to seeing from you with the painted pieces as these rely on a more time based media as opposed to getting the point across all within one frame.

Within this series of "always..." we are drawn into and shown the first two frames of background. By themselves, they would be visually interesting, though too vague in concept. With the last frame the background is drawn into context in a "punchline" to a joke in a way with the addition of
a figure. The energy and point made is heavy and more like a david lynch emotive narration than anything funny.

I love the slice of story as it's vaguely laid out. The withdrawl of actual text leaves the running script to be mysterious and consequently in the next series of image if one word appears, then it'll have much more weight than overuse of text tools.

fuk, i sound like a stuffy dry ole art critc.

ice work though dear, it's cool to seeing you dipping your toes in to new waters while picking up lessons as ya go.

I would highly suggest looking to sequential art and film for realizations that will take your work to a higher level.

Very misterious, but so expressive...
I love the layout ! Your shots are alwais great...

This is most equivocal. The angle (given the obvious direction of progression) suggests descent, and yet the figure is moving toward a saturated area of light (albeit one which doesn't much resemble an exit). I like the pattern created by the repeated features, but to be honest, I'm clueless.

Oh, by the way, there's one 'horrendous' flaw in this piece (bom bom bom): the left image is a pixel too far down. This unnerves me.

it's a plastic covered tunnel... construction is being done on the exit/entrance of the hospital.
and oh dear... i hate when that happens, my eyesight sucks right now, i'm having issues lining images up. arg, sorry for the disturbance.
