I know I don't comment often enough (school eats my life), but this piece really stands out, Julia dear. Tell me, though, what exactly 'structuralism' entails, just for my curiosity. The panels of toilet without inscriptions seem to mutter noncommittally "This is a toilet. You know what it is, what it does." And then the three panels with text just shatter your initial, imprinted idea of the structure. So much can happen in a bathroom, apparently. So much can happen in any space, this piece says. We just minimalize a space's function based on the structures contained within it, and forget that life can happen anywhere.
