i find the sound of water running very comforting. Before having a shower I would sit in the washroom and read with the tub running. It's horrible to just run water I know, and since the blackouts I haven't been. I've been very unnerved by the pause in my ritual the past few days. I seem to need the white noise...

the sound of fans is the same for me, it's terrible. I can't sleep or be calm around fans..
though if I leave my radio in between channels while I sleep, i'm somewhat soothed.
Very soothing.
